The space
We're very excited to welcome guests to The Iron House Apartments - Hillary’s Hideaway!
The apartment has been recently renovated and we have aimed to keep the history of the building alive, treasure it, if you will.
As you enter the apartment you are greeted with plenty of light as the windows let it flow in!
The apartment is largely set in an open plan manner, with the lounge area featuring a large sofa, that can be made into a double bed upon request. There is also a smart TV. You are welcome to use Netflix and other streaming apps, if you have accounts for these.
In this space there is a dining table where you can enjoy your meals.
Your kitchen features many amenities, electric oven and hob, fridge with small freezer.
Smaller appliances include a microwave, toaster, kettle, and Tassimo coffee machine.
There is a breakfast bar area in the kitchen, ideal for 2 people.
There is a shared Laundry room for guests on the rear terrace with a washing machine, sink, and tumble dryer.
The bedroom features a lovely king-sized bed, complimented with bed side tables and lamps. To store your clothes, there is a wardrobe and to make sure you're still looking fabulous, a full-length mirror.
There is a shower room, with a double headed shower (rain or standard head - your choice!), wc and basin.
There is outdoor space for guests to enjoy, it is private and there is a table and chair set where you can enjoy a meal, al fresco!
The apartment is located up a flight of stairs and therefore guests will be required to have a degree of mobility.
Dogs are allowed, there is a small charge of £10 per dog.
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a paper shop next door for essentials open every day and Spar is 100yds away.
